01 · Choosing the right version

Start with
the individual prosthesis.

Amputation level, existing components and the required coverage form the basis. We then agree on leg shape, attachment and design.

U-Flex

Below-knee and above-knee

Flexible cover with individually adapted spacers. Available with a magnetic closure or an internally positioned zip.

Agree on available space, transitions and attachment for the specific prosthesis.

Below-knee → · Above-knee →

C-Flex

Complete cover · Above-knee

Complete cover with an articulated connection. Soft is the flexible version; Hybrid combines a soft upper section with a hard-shell lower section.

Check clearance for movement and transitions to the knee and foot components in your practice. Choose the closure for the specific version.

SkinFlex

Full sleeve · Below-knee

Soft, flexible sleeve extending from the edge of the prosthetic socket to or beyond the forefoot. Individually matched skin tone, with an optional tattoo design.

Agree on coverage, skin tone and design with the customer and Cekoon.

X-Cover

Hard-shell cover

An alternative with a rigid shell. Choose the version and design to suit the individual prosthesis.

Discuss model-specific options and fit with Cekoon.

This overview supports initial selection. It does not constitute blanket compatibility approval for knee joints, feet or other components.

02 · Data for customisation

Two ways to define the leg shape.

The leg shape is adapted using either a scan or reference images with measurements.

With a scan

  • Scan without shoes or socks.
  • Remove loose foam and any other unsecured parts.
  • Where possible, scan the prosthesis and the remaining leg separately.
  • Supply a closed mesh; the prosthetic tube must be identifiable.

When a scan is provided, additional measurements are optional checks and are not mandatory.

With reference images and measurements

The required leg shape is adapted using reference images and the corresponding measurements. Use the measurement diagrams for the chosen product.

Define reference lines, cover length and attachment position for the specific version. Do not automatically transfer reference lines from a below-knee fitting to an above-knee fitting.

03 · Working together in daily practice

From selection
to an approved cover.

01

Agree on the version

Discuss cover type, prosthetic setup, attachment and the customer's preferences together.

02

Submit the data

Provide a scan or reference images with measurements, together with details of the specific prosthesis.

03

Review the design

Check product views, leg shape, transitions and attachment position against the individual approval document. Resolve any open points before manufacturing.

04

Fit and instruct

On delivery, check the cover on the prosthesis and show the user how to remove, refit and care for it.

04 · Fitting and servicing

Access for everyday servicing.

The U-Flex cover can be removed for care, inspection and servicing, then refitted. Attachment and handling depend on the model supplied.

Agree on the attachment

For U-Flex with a magnetic closure, the retaining ring on the prosthetic tube is fitted with magnets. An internally positioned zip is also available.

Features and fitting →

Keep components accessible

Consider access to components and the necessary clearance for movement in the individual fitting. Remove the U-Flex cover for servicing.

Construction and transitions →

Explain cover care

U-Flex can be cleaned and dried separately. The water-resistant cover does not automatically make the entire prosthesis suitable for use in water; the component approvals remain decisive.

Professional questions

Answers before you start.

Is a scan mandatory?

No. The leg shape can also be adapted using reference images with measurements. If a scan is provided, additional measurements are optional checks.

Does every cover fit every prosthesis?

Selection and adaptation are specific to the individual prosthesis. Components, available space, transitions and clearance for movement must be checked for each version. No blanket compatibility assurance is given here.

Can prosthesis users order directly?

All Cekoon products are available exclusively through prosthetists. As a professional practice, you can contact Cekoon directly to discuss the fitting.

Do U-Flex properties apply to all cover types?

Product properties depend on the version. Do not automatically apply U-Flex specifications to C-Flex, X-Cover or SkinFlex. The relevant product information and individual agreement remain decisive.
